Pentatonic Scales to Major Scales, modes, etc.

If you’re good with the Pentatonic Scale fingerings, why not add this to your toolbox? In each fingering position, flesh out the I, IV, and V chords. Let’s do the simplest one that most guitar players start with but rarely ever go just the one simple extra step.
Am pentatonic at the 5th fret. First, let’s rename it to CMaj pentatonic. Start with the C note on the 6th string, 4th finger. E note on the 5th string, 3rd finger. G note on the 4th string, 1st finger. C note on the 3rd string, 1st finger. E note on the 2nd string, 1st finger. G note on the same 2nd string, 4th finger. C note on the 1st string, 4th finger.
Everything right out of the pentatonic scale, right? Graphic below.

Now, let’s do the IV chord, FMaj. A note on the 6th string, 1st finger. C note on the 6th string, 4th finger. F note on the 5th string, 4th finger. A note on the 4th string, 3rd finger. C note on the 3rd string, 1st finger. F note on the 2nd string, 2nd finger. A note on the 1st string, 1st finger. C note on the 1st string, 4th finger. The F note, on two strings, 5th string and 2nd string, are additions to the pentatonic scale. Graphic below.

Now, the V chord, GMaj. 6th string, B note, 3rd finger(this note is added to the pentatonic fingering, not usually there). D note, 5th string, 1st finger. G note, 4th string, 1st finger(I switch to 2nd finger for this one). B note, 3rd string, position change to the 4th fret with the 1st finger. D note, 3rd string, 4th finger(7th fret after the position change. I use 3rd finger for this note). G note, 2nd string, 4th finger. B note, 1st string, 3rd finger.

Congratulations. You just played the notes of the C Major scale and it’s modes.
If you’re not hip to the I, IV, V arpeggios, then substitute the C, F, and G pentatonic scales. It works the same.

C Major Pentatonic

F Major Pentatonic

G Major Pentatonic

Work these through the other 5 positions of the Pentatonic scale, and then through at least 5 other keys.
