Two masters at work…

The Ahmad Jamal Trio perform with special musical guest Gary Burton in 1981. Beginning at the age of six Gary Burton set out to master the marimba and vibraphone. By the time he was sixteen he was ready to tackle the piano. Burton attended the Berklee College Of Music in Boston and went on to play with Stan Getz during the mid-1960s. He has been highly influential and widely imitated since.
